Cleaners Glasgow FAQ

Q: Which areas do you cover?
A: BuZy Bees cover Glasgow and the Glasgow area up to 10 miles away from the city centre for regular cleaning. For One off cleaning and End of Tenancy cleaning we cover up to 20 miles. Give us a call to find out if we cover your area.

A: You can contact us by phone or email. We provide a quick response to all enquiries and will offer you a slot for free estimation visit at the earliest convenience. We will discuss your cleaning needs and if you have any special requirements for day and time of cleaning visits.
A: We don't have minimum booking time as we base our services on completion of selected cleaning requirements. Time of completion may vary slightly from one cleaner to another. For this reason our booking is based on completion of all services as detailed in the individual cleaning plan and are not based on hourly rate. We can however advise of an estimated time the cleaning will be taking. The minimum booking rate is £25 for a regular cleaning service.
Q: What cleaning service is included?
A: This entirely depends on you. Some examples of standard and extra services we provide can be found as part of our Regular Cleaning, One off cleaning and End of Tenancy cleaning. We are open and flexible in creating your individual cleaning plan, so that you are fully satisfied.
A: BuZy Bees bring their own cleaning materials and equipment. We use market leading eco-friendly cleaning products and equipment which meet national health and healthy standards. It is not a problem, however, if any customer prefers to supply the cleaner with their own cleaning materials. We take a note of any specific requirements and include it in the individual cleaning plan.
A: Yes, if you are happy with your cleaner, we will make sure you get the same cleaner every time though we cannot guarantee this during holidays, sickness absence, and staff rotation. If your regular cleaner is sick or on holiday we can send you a replacement.

Q: How do you vet your cleaners?
A: We first carry out a telephone interview. If the applicant seems suitable we then arrange second interview to take place in their home. Only after taking proof of ID and address along with references we accept them onto our database.Every cleaner we employ must have two references, which we check and permission to work in the UK.
A: BuZy Bees will contact you to arrange temporary cover should your regular cleaner be unable to come to you for any reason.
Q: What is your key-holding policy?
A: It is entirely up to our customers' discretion whether they would leave the keys with us or provide access to their premises personally. It is most often that our clients leave a spare key with us, so ty hecan use the free time with something enjoyable outside as well. BuZy Bees will visit you only at the date and time we have agreed when signing the cleaning contract.
A: Yes. We carry out professional carpet and upholstery cleaning using professional carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.BuZy Bees bring their own cleaning materials and equipment.
Q: Will you be able to remove all stains from my carpet?
A: No guarantee can be given for complete stain removal because some stains, such as food colourings, hot drinks, cosmetics, plant foods etc. may cause permanent colour change to the fibres and may react adversely to stain removal products. All spots and stains cannot be removed from every fibre and fabric due to differences in fibre type and construction, the dyes used, and the finish of the fabric. The composition of the spill and the length of time the stain has remained on the article also has a bearing on stain removal.

A: A lot depends on the type and thickness of your carpets and of course, the weather, but most carpets will be dry in two to three hours. Very thick carpets may take a little longer.

Q: Can you provide references from your clients?
A: Yes, we can provide references from our current customers.

By ordering our services by telephone, e-mail, or through our website, you agree to be bound by BuZy Bees terms and conditions.

A: All payments for cleaning services carried out are payable in cash or by cheque to the cleaner on the day of the visit. For regular domestic cleaning the most convenient way is to set up a standing order or bank transfer. Our bank details are available on request.
